Thelveton: St Andrew, Thelveton

St Andrew's church is situated down a country lane in open countryside. It is a beautiful spot to come to find peace, to have a picnic, or to walk part of the Boudicca Way, which passes through the churchyard. The church itself was built in the early 14th century.

Sunday Worship
Our normal Sunday service is at eleven o'clock. On the first Sunday we usually have Holy Communion. On the second Sunday we usually have a traditional Matins. On the third Sunday the service is at Rushall Church, and is usually a Holy Communion. On the fourth Sunday we have a modern language Service of the Word. There is a box of toys available for young children at St Andrews. The fifth Sunday is a benefice service at one of the six churches.
Every first second and fourth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Friday
Morning PrayerEvery Friday, Morning Prayer is said, together with prayers for the parish, all the people who live and work and worship here. The church is usually open for this service, but when Gale is away she will say the prayers wherever she is. If you want a particular person to be remembered please contact Gale. if you would like to go inside the church when Gale is not there please contact the churchwarden
Every Friday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour
Thundersley Brass Band
By popular request, a return of this award winning Brass Band for an outdoor concert in the field by the church.
